Baccarat is one of most played casino card games today. The history of this games begins in Italy. After many year baccarat is introduced in France. This type of casino game is very similat to another two – Faro and to Basset. Player can choose between three games variations – baccarat chemin de fer , baccarat banque and punto banco. Actually punto banko is a game of chance , with no strategy or skills required. In other two types player can make decisions and this make them more complicated.
In our case games and rules are so simple and this is because the player do nor have to make many dicisions and skills are nor required.
There are 15 seats numbered 1 to 15 at the top of baccarat game table. There are three dealers that will manage all tables. There is a dealer who will stand between the 1 to 15 players. He is the ‘caller’. The caller is the dealer in charge of running the games while the cards are being dealt from the shoe.
In baccarat rules, the shoe is handled by each player. When a player receives the shoe, he or she should bet for the bank. But players can decline the shoe if they do not want it. They will just pass the shoe to the next player.
The player who has the shoe passes the cards to the caller. The caller will then place the cards received in the appropriate boxes. The caller then calls for another card or declare the winner according to game rules.
In baccarat rules, bets can be placed in either the player or the bank. Both are paid in even money. Normal Baccarat rules have the minimum bet of $20 and a maximum of $2000.
The other two dealers’ job is to collect and pay out the losing and winning bets respectively. If the bank wins, players who bet on the bank will have to pay 5% commission.
When the first two cards drawn by the player are 1, 2, 2, 4, 5, or 10, the player must draw another card. When the player has drawn a 6 or a 7, the player will stand. Drawing an 8 or 9 is called a ‘natural’ and the player should also stand.
The banker will act according to his or her hands and the player’s third card. For example the banker’s card is 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9 or 10; the banker will draw a card. If the player’s 3rd card is an 8, the banker will stand.
Another situation where the banker draws: if the banker’s card is a 4 and the player’s 3rd card is 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7. The banker will stand if the player has cards of 1, 8, 9 or 10.
If the banker’s cards add up to 5 and the player’s third card is 4, 5, 6 or 7; the dealer will draw. The banker will stand if he or she has cards that equal 1, 2, 3, 8, 9 or 10. If the banker’s card is a 6 and the player has a 3rd card of 6 or 7
The banker should also stand when he or she has cards that add up to 7, 8 or 9.
The other baccarat rules are when a stand-off or a tie happens. Stand-off or a tie is when both the banker and the player receive identical hands. Neither the bank nor the player wins when a stand-off happens. If both the banker and the player have a stand-off that amounts to 6 or 7, no cards will be drawn. When there is a stand-off with other two card totals (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 0), both the banker and the player will draw. |
